Our client, a successful and growing professional services organisation, is looking for an ambitious Private Tax Manager to join their expanding tax team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As the Private Tax Manager, you’ll work with a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and trusts, tackling interesting and complex tax matters while building trusted client relationships and developing your technical expertise.

The Responsibilities:

• Manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients and trusts
• Prepare and review self-assessment returns and tax computations
• Advise on IHT, CGT, residence and domicile matters
• Support clients with tax planning and advisory projects
• Prepare engaging reports, recommendations and client correspondence
• Build trusted relationships with clients and professional advisers
• Review junior work and support the development of colleagues
• Identify opportunities to introduce wider specialist services

The Candidate:

• ATT or CTA qualified, or equivalent
• Previous experience across personal tax compliance and advisory
• Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax legislation
• Highly organised with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Professional, personable and confident building client relationships
