Corporate Tax Assistant Manager
Exeter, Devon
£45,000 – £55,000 per annum
Our client, a successful and growing professional services organisation, is looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join their expanding tax team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Working with a diverse portfolio of businesses across a range of sectors, you’ll support both compliance and advisory work, gaining exposure to a broad range of corporate tax matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to build on their existing compliance experience and develop their advisory skills within a supportive and technically strong team.
The Responsibilities:
- Prepare corporation tax computations and returns
- Support corporate tax advisory and planning projects
- Assist with R&D, capital allowances and transaction work
- Contribute to specialist projects including share schemes and restructuring
- Carry out technical research and provide clear tax analysis
- Manage client assignments to agreed deadlines and quality standards
- Build strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
- Support junior colleagues through coaching and day-to-day guidance
The Candidate:
- Previous experience within a corporate tax environment
- ATT/CTA or ACA/CTA qualified, part-qualified or studying towards CTA
- Strong technical knowledge with a commitment to continued development
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Professional, proactive and confident building client relationships
