Employment Tax Manager
Exeter, Devon
£55,000 – £65,000 per annum
Our client, a well-established and growing professional services organisation, is looking to appoint an experienced Employment Tax Manager to join their expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a senior role combining technical employment tax expertise with client relationship management, advisory work and business development. As the Employment Tax Manager, you’ll work closely with a broad range of clients, providing practical advice across complex employment tax matters while helping to develop existing relationships and identify new opportunities.
The Responsibilities:
- Lead employment tax advisory projects across a broad client portfolio
- Provide practical advice across PAYE, NICs, benefits and reward
- Advise clients on IR35, off-payroll working and compliance
- Manage key client relationships and identify opportunities for growth
- Support proposals, pitches and wider business development activity
- Deliver employment tax reviews, risk assessments and due diligence
- Work collaboratively with clients, colleagues and external advisers
- Coach and support junior team members while contributing to team development
The Candidate:
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified, or equivalent
- Strong UK employment tax experience at Senior Manager level
- Excellent technical knowledge of employment tax legislation and P11Ds
- Strong client management, communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded, proactive and motivated by career progression
