Senior Accountant

£50,000 – £60,000 per annum
Our client, a leading and highly regarded South West Accountancy Practice, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious practice professional looking to take the next step in their career within a progressive and supportive firm. Working closely with senior leadership, you will manage your own client portfolio, provide high-quality accounting and advisory services, and play a key role in mentoring colleagues and supporting the continued growth of a specialist client division.

The responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering accounting and advisory services
- Prepare and review statutory accounts and tax compliance work
- Provide commercial advice and financial guidance to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
- Support the development and mentoring of junior team members
- Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and win new business
- Work closely with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice
The candidate:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with accountancy practice experience
- Strong technical knowledge of accounts, tax, and client advisory services
- Previous experience managing a client portfolio independently
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, commercially minded, and passionate about developing your career
