Lloyd Barnes are partnering with a growing organisation who are seeking a proactive Finance Manager to support its next phase of development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and working closely with senior decision-makers.
As the Finance Manager, you’ll take charge of the day-to-day finance function while coordinating outsourced providers across bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, and statutory reporting. This is a visible, influential role offering genuine autonomy and progression as the Group expands.
The responsibilities:
- Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts for senior management review.
- Collaborate with operational teams to issue recharges, uplifts, and financial updates.
- Serve as primary contact for internal finance and payment inquiries.
- Manage daily finance operations alongside external bookkeepers.
- Lead the annual budget preparation for each company.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting with clear financial projections.
- Coordinate with external accountants on VAT, corporation tax, and statutory accounts.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance.
The candidate:
- Proven experience in a similar finance role.
- Holds an accountancy qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) qualification, candidates qualified by experience will also be considered.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable taking ownership and building effective relationships across a multi-entity environment.
- Experience in operational, multi-site, or service-led businesses is advantageous.
