Finance Business Partner

£40,000 – £45,000 per annum
Our client, a prominent organisation in the South West, is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team. This full-time, permanent role presents an exciting opportunity to become a key member of a dynamic finance function, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the business’s strategic direction and providing invaluable financial analysis to senior management.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be integral to the business, providing strategic financial insights, supporting decision-making processes, and ensuring alignment between financial goals and operational objectives.
The responsibilities:
- Analyse P&L and management accounts to drive profitability and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Produce detailed financial reports and business cases to support key business decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to provide robust financial advice and insights.
- Support the delivery of business strategy through data-driven recommendations and actionable insights.
- Monitor and reporting on financial performance against targets and key business metrics.
- Provide guidance on treasury, expenses, and multi-currency considerations as part of broader financial management.
The candidate:
- Fully Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with experience in business partnering.
- Proven experience in business partnering, with strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and management accounts, as well as supporting stakeholders across multiple departments
- Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to influence and drive change within a business environment
