Payroll Administrator
Plymouth, Devon
£27,000 – £28,000 per annum

We are working with a growing organisation seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join its Payroll Department on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role would suit a candidate with strong payroll knowledge, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and confidence with numbers. The Payroll Support Administrator will support daily payroll administration, ensure processes meet deadlines, and help deliver accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll services.

The Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the 4-weekly payroll cycle and ensuring data integrity throughout the process.
  • Processing of statutory payments.
  • Assisting with P11Ds, PSA Agreements and salary sacrifice schemes.
  • Supporting annual payroll audits.
  • Handling queries promptly and professionally.
  • Preparing reports and extracting data for business use.
  • Carrying out general payroll administration and assisting with other office duties where needed.

The Candidate:

  • Strong working knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
  • Clear communication skills and a positive, team-oriented approach.
