Senior Manager – Accounting and Advisory Services
Exeter (hybrid)
£50,000 – £68,000 DOE
Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking top 30 accountancy firm seeking a Senior Manager to join their Accounting and Advisory Services team. They are actively seeking a talented individual to join their Exeter Office and firmwide leadership team. This role offers a clear path for progression from Senior Manager to Director, and potentially Partner in the future.

The Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Manager, you will play a vital role in implementing and promoting the firm’s services, providing proactive advice to the clients.
- Manage a portfolio of corporate clients with turnovers up to £10.2m.
- Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to successfully deliver a wide range of accounting services to clients.
- Build strong client relationships and effectively manage their expectations.
- Develop the accounting team by recruiting and mentoring members to help them reach their potential.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including winning new clients and building a professional network.
- Collaborate with our other offices to support the implementation of our Better Growth firmwide strategy.
The Candidate:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience.
- Experience of working within a practice environment.
- Experience managing a diverse portfolio of owner-managed business clients.
- Excellent people management skills with a passion for developing and coaching teams. You should have experience leading teams and possess a commercial mindset.
- Energetic business development mindset, eager to build contacts and network within the wider Exeter business community. Demonstrating enthusiasm for generating new business opportunities through your network is crucial.
- Exceptional communication skills enabling rapport building at all levels.
- Highly commercial with a drive to contribute to our firm’s growth.
