Purchase Ledger Administrator
Exeter, Devon
£23,000 – £25,000 per annum

Our client is a highly successful company who have experienced substantial growth in recent years and are forecasting further significant growth.

They are looking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator to join them at their Exeter Office on an ongoing temporary, full-time basis. There is an opportunity for this to transition into a permanent role for the successful candidate.

You will be working closely alongside senior members of the finance team and will be used to working in a fast paced and vibrant environment.

The responsibilities:

  • Process supplier invoices.
  • Match and check against relevant purchase orders or subcontract orders and issue for workflow approval.
  • Monthly CIS reconciliation and submission of returns to HMRC.
  • Responsible for setting up Subcontractor accounts and payment runs.
  • Reporting into senior members of the finance team.
  • General ad-hoc duties.

The candidate:

  • Working knowledge of CIS procedures and the ability to understand the inclusions and exclusions of the scheme.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience of working in a similar position.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent excel skills.
