I am currently partnering exclusively with a market leading company seeking a FP&A Analyst to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This opportunity comes with hybrid working.
As the FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial insight and advising senior management to support with informed decision-making to drive business performance and growth. The ideal candidate should excel in communication and relationship-building, and be a strategic thinker who provides proactive recommendations to drive business growth.
The responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the senior management to align financial expertise with business objectives, strategies, and challenges.
- Develop and implement data-driven reporting and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and commercial performance.
- Oversee financial planning and analysis for the business, including regular reporting, variance analysis, and performance tracking.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimise pricing strategies, product offerings, and sales channels.
- Establish a robust financial control framework for rebate and discount management planning, approval, and accounting processes.
- Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate brand and customer promotional strategies, assessing performance against planned outcomes.
- Coordinate sales and margin target setting at various levels to support company budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals and strategies.
- Support category management with commercial insights and market trend data.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, and data management practices.
The candidate:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
- Proven experience in finance business partnering, especially with Sales and Commercial functions.
- Strong skills in financial modelling, analysis, and problem-solving, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficient in financial planning and analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
