The company, a leader in their sector is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and driven Financial Controller to join their expanding team. As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial operations of this dynamic, fast-growing UK company. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping strategic decisions, optimising financial performance, and driving sustainable growth.
The responsibilities:
- Manage annual budgets, business plans, and revenue forecasts.
- Deliver timely monthly management information to Board & Leadership Team.
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts.
- Partner with department heads on strategic matters.
- Present financial data to Board and external stakeholders.
- Support commercial negotiations and manage legal agreements.
- Oversee pension fund finance and participate in trustees’ board.
- Assess operational workflows to improve ROI and efficiency.
The candidate:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with strong Excel and accounting software skills.
- Experience in system implementation and process review.
- Proactive all-rounder with the ability to operate independently.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a decisive approach.
