Finance Administrator
Exeter, Devon
£25,000 per annum

Our client, a market-leading supplier in the UK, are looking for an experienced Finance Administrator to join them on a permanent, full-time basis. This role is based at the client’s offices outside of Exeter with hybrid working available.

They have established and maintained their position as a market leader and expert in their field by continuous investment into: processes, products and personnel.

The responsibilities:

  • Following up with customers to obtain necessary documentation and verify deliveries, while also addressing any discrepancies.
  • Matching customer claims with returns documentation and rebate agreements, and inputting relevant data into the accounting system.
  • Collaborating with all Senior Managers across the business to ensure timely resolution of Transportation Management System (TMS) queries, including coordination with the business’s Accountant.
  • Generating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to TMS, such as metrics for overtime and sickness.
  • Issuing purchase orders.
  • Recording goods and services received in the Goods Received Note (GRN) when they arrive.
  • Providing support for other finance roles within the organisation as needed.
  • Undertaking additional ad hoc duties as required.

The candidate:

  • Previous administrative experience, as well as ideally having worked within a finance-based role.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated strong numerical aptitude and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
