Our objective was to recruit a highly qualified Head of Finance for a subsidiary of a large PLC based in Exeter. This was a critical hire as it held the No. 1 position within the subsidiaries finance team , reporting directly to the CEO. The goal was to find a finance leader who could not only lead the finance team but also serve as a strategic business partner across the Group. The CEO had a vision of growing and developing this division within the Group, making this recruitment crucial to their future success.

- Multi-stage Interviews: Our interview process consisted of two key stages. Initially, we facilitated a Teams interview with the client, involving the CEO and Group Head of Finance. This initial interview allowed the client to evaluate candidates’ alignment with the company’s vision and strategic objectives. Subsequently, we organised face-to-face interviews with the CEO and Group Financial Controller for the second stage. These interviews were specifically designed to delve deeper into candidates’ financial expertise, leadership capabilities, and their potential to contribute significantly to the subsidiary’s growth and development within the broader Group context.
